The report notes Miss Winifred Bryant visiting Macgregor with friends. Mr. Weidenbamer returned to Deloraine on Saturday accompanied by J Stowe. Miss Marjorie Spencer, struck by a train in Winnipeg last week while crossing Portage Ave at The Mall, is out of hospital with minor injuries.
The Miniota municipal school board met on Tuesday of last week. They altered the fiscal year to December and approved several transport and salary changes including 4 to Beulah and 8 to Beulah fare increases, teacher and secretary treasurer salary cuts, and caretaker reductions. A committee of Chalmers Strachan and Bonner will interview the council on financing, with the next meeting set for December 10 in Miniota.
Beulah Miss Fitten spent the weekend in Brandon. The Community Committee will meet in the brick shed on Friday. Everyone is welcome. St Wilfrid's Anglican Church Beulah plans Annual Bazaar at Forster's Hall on Wednesday November 20 from 3 pm. Sewing knitting home cooking bran tub candy lunch served 3 30 to 6. Rememberance Day service in United Church attended by Canadian Legion and Boy Scouts with Carnegie Pipers. Rev Hal Bogan conducted the service. Junior Girls Choir sang Things Shall Be. Mrs AN Sawyer sang The Is No Death.
