Fire Training Courses Announced Across Manitoba
Labor Minister Norma Price announced multiple fire training programs to enhance prevention and response. An official opening for a new air compressor-station at Shoal Lake is set for November 12, funded at $10,000 by the province and serving Western Central Mutual Fire Aid District. A tactics seminar for fire department command officers follows on November 26 and 27 in Brandon, with the annual Brandon fire college conducted by the Fire Commissioner’s Office continuing the program.
