Mrs L Muirhead and her daughter of Brandon visit friends in the district. R Walker leaves for Winnipeg to reside there. Miss Gladys McKenne spends the weekend in Brandon returning Tuesday. The Girl Guides plan a Poppy sale on Friday and urge public support.
A discussion on Spirit quality led by Dr Rowan proved interesting and instructive. The program included gamer contests and concluded with a very nice lunch.
The Rural Council met in Miniota for a Court of Revision and general business. Resolutions include cancelling land taxes on NE 31 14 27 and SE 29 15 26, adjusting several Crandall and Isabella lots, reducing multiple assessments, and authorizing a December 14 1933 tax sale. The meeting also covers Old Age Pension applications, relief committees, and convention delegates.
