Teddy Finkbeiner spent the past week in Winnipeg as BD. L Warren now heads the Western Canada Elevator here. Superintendent Albright gave a Temperance talk Sunday morning. Sydney Finkbeiner returned home from Delta Alta after a month away. Iverach left for Winnipeg to join Hudson Bay Co. Calner, recently in district, headed to Winnipeg en route home to Victoria. Rev and Mrs Bowman departed for Roseisle for a wedding officiated by Mr Bowman. Miss A Iverach accompanied them to Winnipeg. Claud Reid and Elmer Finkbeiner visit M A C as Decker Boys and Girls Clubs representatives for Vig raising demonstrations.
Misses Ruby Hanna and Ethel Elliott of Decker attend demonstrations as part of the Eastern trip pursuit. The C. G. I. T. and Trail Ranger groups held a successful Hallowe'en party at the Sutherlands home. They honored former leader Mrs. R. K. Warren with an address and fountain pen due to ill health.

Miniota Horticultural Society to meet November 14 in Municipal Hall at 3 pm for reports and officer elections. St Wilfrid's Beulah W A will hold a Work and Home Cooking sale November 17 at 2 pm in Forster's Hall with lunch and bran tub for children. Additional auction by McConnell Bros at A H McDonald’s near Crandall November 8 at 1 pm. Miniota branch No 66 to meet November 1 at 7:30 pm in Senior England Hall. first regular meeting invites returned soldiers.
Voters in Miniota Manitoba are called to vote on a by law November 30 1928 from morning to late afternoon at multiple ward polling places including Ward 1 Isabella Chapmans Ward 2 Forsters Hall Beulah Ward 3 John Bell Ward 4 G E Reynolds and municipal sites Ward 5 P R Station Arrow River and municipal hall areas Ward 4 and 6 east of the Assinovin River. The by law seeks a ten year levy on taxable property to fund reserve land for new buildings equipment and capital expenditure. The Reeve will supervise polling and the clerk will tally votes on December 1 1928 at 2 pm. The by law text is available at the Clerk’s office until voting day. John Spalding Clerk.
