Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Johnston of Brandon visited the Herb Johnston family last weekend. Cedric Lee travels to Deer Lodge for eye exams this week. An annual Turkey dinner at the Community Centre fed over five hundred people after 5:30 pm. Mr. and Mrs. A Adams spent the weekend with relatives in Brandon.

Glenda Heise earned the Grade eight highest science marks at Birtle Award Night on October 28. Jim Flynne helped Birtle High cross country win both Zone and Division titles. Mrs R E Heise is recovering after surgery at Hamiota hospital.
