The South bridge is open 8 am to 8 pm with loaded trucks not permitted. The steel order for the New South Bridge has been accepted by the foundry. Local officials note visitors on long weekends are restricted and Miniota Directors have set up committees for the year.
The Rural Council met May 17 with Reeve J R Lynch presiding. The auditor's report will be published with 200 reprints. Purchases and leases of various parcels were approved with specific figures and terms. Financial responsibility for Walker B and Bertha Allenby was accepted for their maintenance. Machinery operator pay rates were set. By law 1061 approves transfer of lots in Crandall Townsite.
The List of Electors for the Rural Municipality of Miniota is open for inspection at the Miniota Manitoba office. On Friday June 25 1948 at 10 a.m the Council meets as a Court of Revision to revise the list. Charles R Lee assessor.
