Rural Council Debates Grader Trial and Hospital District
A rural council meeting with all councillors present approved trial delivery of a reconditioned grader from Kane-Marr Ltd and potentially purchasing it. An application for Blind Pension was approved. J W Warren was appointed constable with authority over the Assiniboine bridge. The council opposed forming a Virden Hospital District and urged inclusion of land west of the Assiniboine in the Hamiota area. They asked Hamiota Hospital Board to add a Nursing Unit at Miniota.
