A daughter was born May 11 at Miniota hospital to Mr and Mrs A E Brad Isabelle. Another birth announced for Monday May 16 at Miniota to Mr and Mrs Chas Boyce a daughter born that day.
The funeral for the late Mrs William Leland Sr was held Wednesday at Arrow River church with Revs Moffat and Hunter. Born in 1860 in Cumnock Ontario she came to western Canada in 1880 and helped settle Winnipeg Portage and the local farm. Survived by husband four daughters Mrs Holtsman Mrs Lucky Mrs Maddock and Rosie and six sons Gordon John Jed William Louis and Frank the community extends its sincere condolences.
