Local notes report Constable Kirk of Shoal Lake being transferred to Dauphin. Mr and Mrs W L Dorward and Dave spent several days in Winnipeg last week. Nurse Sadler returned from a visit to Toronto and other eastern points on Tuesday.
Mesers Kehoe and Floyd arrived last week to audit the municipality books. John Spalding returned from Ottawa and enjoyed the trip. The Society for Unescorted Females plans a dance soon. Weekly half-holidays start Wednesday May 18 with stores closing at noon.
