Miniota Baseball Cup Win and Regional Legion Activities

Miniota won 7 to 1 over Bradwardine to claim the baseball league cup for the second straight year as Shoal Lake did not play last year. The Kenora Canadin Legion held a convention with officers elected Rev G L Armstrong as Hon Chaplain and R M Oliver on the executive. A Memorial service in Miniota drew many, with Rev T D Barnett as speaker and Neepawa Band leading the music. Streetcar depots flooded by a strong wind near Winnipeg disrupted travel on the return journey.
