Brtle's Dominion Day Celebration and Sports Planned
A robust programme for Brtle's Dominion Day Celebration and Sports is scheduled for Saturday July 1 featuring horse races baseball softball junior athletics horseshoes and a civic reception plus circus midway and parade. Miniota teams swept Oak River 9 1 in a Tuesday league game then won 6 0 at home Friday the return in Miniota was 6 0. On Wednesday at Bradwardine Miniota lost 20 in the first game to Brandon. The Miniota tennis club won the district playoffs and Bin scar th club visitors dominated the northern district with Miniota prevailing in all events. Return games set for the coming Wednesday when Miniota travels to Binscarth.

School Board Actions in Minnesota Meeting
The Municipal school board chaired by Wm. Lindsay passed resignations for Miss R. Wright and J. Cameron Martin and appointed W. C. Campbell principal of Arrow River school at 1300 dollars. The teachers' committee may fill vacancies. Schools close June 29 and reopen August 28. Next meeting by chair call.
