A local display of whitewear will run for two weeks with a large, varied stock. The designs are pretty and early buyers secure the best. About 380 items remain and the sale is extended to Saturday, June 13 to clear inventory. Customers are urged to act now for best value.
Local brief items include the arrival of Red Dwarf pencils at $2 each, train movements by Miss Frazer, Mr J J Taylor, Mr Percy Hodnett, and others. Describes rifles turned in, travel to Brandon Hamiota Cranbrook and Portland, church picnics, souvenir post cards, and shop closures. Rob McKay on the run again, rode the gravel train to the terminus Saturday evening.

A new train service between Miniota and Brandon began on Tuesday the 16th of inst and will run through the summer. The passenger train leaves Miniota on Tuesdays Thursdays and Saturdays at 7 20 a m and arrives at 7 20 p m. A mixed train runs Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays at the same times as before.
An old classified style notice promises a $100 reward for an incurable catarrh case by Hall's Catarrh Cure from F J Cheney Co of Toledo Ohio. It includes endorsements from Warpine Kinnan Marvin and notes internally acting treatment with testimonials, price sixpence per bottle and sale by all druggists.
