We Win But We Lose A Change To Automatic Telephones
A local note from Miniota describes the coming switch from the worn telephone system to a modern automatic central. It recalls how operators connected calls and offered a friendly service, and warns that the human central will be replaced by a mechanized system. Manitoba Telephone System showed films explaining Dial Telephones and telephone courtesy, followed by a W C Fields comedy.
