Regina to Welcome New Industrial Gas Plant
J W Sharp president of Interprovincial Steel announces an industrial gas plant near IPSCO in Regina. Liquid Carbonic Canadian Corporation will finance and build a $750000 facility supplying oxygen, creating a 20 employee plant with $100000+ payroll and an annual output boost of up to 12500 tons. Plant to start January 1960 alongside IPSCO production.
