Obituary for Harry Harrison in Hamiota
The United Church in Hamiota filled on June 7 1971 for Harry Harrison who died June 5 at Hamiota Hospital. Rev Ralph Clark and Mr Leslie Jameson led the service with burial in Isabella cemetery. Pallbearers included R L Stevenson E Sunley J Coxworth J Ross A Clark G Grey W Bell V Little A L Decker T Gray L McConnell K R Fraser and Frank Reid Clarence Reid Clare Hunter Ken Hunter Murray Bell Joe Harrison. Campbell's Funeral Home arranged the funeral. Harry born 1890 son of J D Harrison of Blaris, served in Fort Garry Horse 1916 1919, married Mary Ellen Craig in 1919, later lived on the Isabella district farm, joined United Church board of stewards, Royal Canadian Legion Manitoa Branch, and Manitoba Pool Elevator secretary at Isabella. Survived by wife three sons Charles Kamloops Douglas James and Gordon in Seattle and Isabella resident Jean Allan Dickie and Margaret Norrie and fifteen grandchildren. one sister Grace. Predeceased by sister Stella and brothers Dewart Frank.
