Obituary for Major Daniel A M Bissett in Winnipeg
The Winnipeg Tribune reports Major Daniel A M Bissett M C Cross de Guerre and Palm died June 11 at Grace Hospital Winnipeg. He served with the Miniota Joup and 12th Manitoba Dragoons, went overseas in 1914, left service in 1919 to farm near Birtle, joined Manitoba Provincial Police later RCMP, retired 1952, then worked with University of Manitoba Botany Dept for a decade. He is survived by wife Mary and three daughters Mrs E I Uliberg Jean and Mrs F Alvarez.
