The Miniota Union Sunday School children enjoyed sunny weather for their Friday picnic in the valley. They traveled by wagon from town to Happyland with wagons loaned by G. Rowan, Chester Selwood, A. Jolley, and J. D. Taylor, where sports were organized by the committee and winners listed.

A Miniota County Court session led by Magistrate Rowan heard F J Preston acting for William Preston seek rent or possession from A Hepburn. The judge ordered rent and costs into court. final costs to be decided by the County Court Judge. Amount involved was 40 dollars for one month’s rent of a shop and slaughter house.
