Church of England Picnic Produces Big Turnout and Wins
A Church of England picnic at Happyland drew large crowds despite morning cloudiness. The day featured an Indian Band from Elkhorn, river launches, and competitive football with Beulah defeating Two Creeks 5 to 0 and Beulah then beating Arrow River to claim the silver cup. Tennis and other contests drew interest, and about 7500 dollars from the dining table will fund the church building.
