Dutch art forger Hans van Meer died after fraud sentence
World News In Pictures reports Hans van Mee geren a 57 year old Dutch artist who faked old master paintings and signed works as Vermeer and De Hooch. He died in Amsterdam of heart disease following a 13 November one year prison sentence for fraud. Buyers included Hermann Goering and a Rotterdam museum.
