Illustrations of Important Weeds in Natural Colors Booklet Issued
The Agricultural Department of the North West Line Elevators Association issued a free booklet for farmers to identify prairie weeds. Local line elevator agents can provide copies, and information on weed control can be obtained by writing to the Agricultural Department. Elevators have supported weed research with Manitoba Agricultural College for years, estimating annual losses to weeds at 199 million dollars.
