Mission Accomplished a tribute to Laurie Gray of Kenton
Laurie Gray died January 9 1977 after a three year battle with primary pulmonary hypertension. Her family and friends recall how she transformed from a popular teen into a beacon of faith, courage and kindness while enduring oxygen therapy, hospital stays, and gradual decline. Laurie inspired staff and patients at Winnipeg and Hamiota hospitals, befriended many, and cherished gifts from loved ones. Her courage, faith and zest for life left a lasting impression on family, friends, and the community.
