Friends and neighbors gathered Wednesday afternoon at Holy Trinity church to bid farewell to Mrs Edith Amy Bryant. Reverend B O Whitfield of St George's church conducted the funeral for Mrs Silas Bryant, who died January 1.

Pioneer Woman Edith Ortt Bryant Dies at Miniota Home
Edith Amy Ortt Bryant died peacefully at her daughter Winnie Morgan's home in Beulah district after a life as a pioneer in the area. Born July 26 1877 in London, she came to Miniota in 1905 with Silas Bryant. Surviving husband five sons a daughter and multiple siblings and eleven grandchildren. The funeral honored her long community service with burial in Miniota cemetery.
