Easter Seal Campaign Underway with Wendy Graham as Tammy
Eleven year old Wendy Graham of Minto Manitoba is the 1970 Easter Seal Tammy. Born May 15 1958 she has spastic quadriplegia. She lives with her parents and will help raise funds February 26 to March 29 across rural Manitoba for the Society for Crippled Children and Adults of Manitoba. The goal is 50 000 dollars and Wendy shares her story to inspire contributions from readers.

The Miniota Women’s Institute met February 13 at the Community Centre. Mrs. C. W. Ellerington installed officers and outlined 1970 program. Donations were given to the Arthritic Society and the Hostess Fund for F. W. I. C. Red Cross officers were elected with J. Reynolds as president, Mrs. McKean as vice president, and Mr. D. Russell as secretary. Red Cross members will meet annually with the Miniota W I in February. Hostesses were Mrs. Ellerington and Mrs. Cook.
