Petorar hosts a new rink meeting in Municipal Hall at 7 15 p m. A 25 whist drive and dance occur at Min iota School with an open air rink. March 4 marks Womens World Day of Prayer followed by an Ice Carnival at Beulah.
Ed Spalding spent the week end in Winnipeg. Miss A Ellerington was a week end passenger to Winnipeg. Chas Ellerington accompanied a car of stock to Winnipeg last week. The A Y P A met on Wednesday in the church basement with Elsie Morgan Lloyd Horner and Len Bryant in charge. Mary Mossop Mary Carnegie and Bill Barrett were appointed group leaders for the next three meetings. The government considers measures to assist soldier settlers in western growth areas to overcome arrears and continues the dollar for dollar bonus after March 31. The Christian Fellowship group of the Y P A led by Mattie Taylor had charge of the meeting and a Valentine party followed.

Mrs Fisher proposes a breakfast dish using Canadian fish fillets baked in milk. Seasoned with salt pepper and flour, then topped with sautéed onions and bacon, and finished in the oven. Two pounds serve about six. mushrooms may surround the fish for extra nourishment.
