The Decker Calf Club met with 11 members and scheduled a Feb 22 bonspiel inviting rinks from Miniota Crandall Oakner McConnell and Oak River A March 6 parent nite and dance with Bob Murray Orchestra was planned at Isabella Proceeds from a Steam Tr on raffle at the dance will go to the 4H Camp improvement Fund Jan ee Reiner adjourned the meeting.

District Happenings held in Brandon on Tuesday
Community notes record District Happenings in Brandon on Tuesday and a variety of local events. A memorial donation of 11 dollars was sent to the Heart Fund in memory of the late Philip Tominski. A newborn Kenneth Wayne was born January 27 1964 to Mr and Mrs Joe Radalinsky of Birtle. John Deyholas of Calgary visited his parents. Beulah activities begin on Wednesday Tebnon 19th with four events and committee conveners planning the year. Delegates were named for the Annual meeting of Birtle Presbyterial in Hamiota on March 24 and 25. The U C W February meeting was hosted by Mrs R Attwood with devotional led by Mrs Scarth on February 12th. The group reviewed church history and Bible translations and discussed their foster child’s letter and donations for the second year. The study on India and early churches continued with notes from Mrs S Bell and Mrs D Bell and will resume March 18 at Mrs R Scarth’s home. A dainty lunch followed.

Isabella News notes Mr and Mrs Ken Harrison of Winnipeg spent the weekend at the D Harrison home. Mrs D Harrison, recently discharged from Winnipeg General Hospital, returned home with them. Mrs and Mrs Elmer Clark visited Winnipeg during the past week. Their son Cliff, a prior patient at Winnipeg General, returned home with them. The World’s Day of Prayer service was held in the church Friday afternoon with Mrs G Weber leading and a solo by Mrs R Scarth. A general meeting followed with Mrs Doug Heise in the chair.
