Spirit of ’70 boosts Manitoba beat in March push
Manitoba officials unveil Spirit of ’70 a song by Neil Harris to mark the province’s march toward its 100th birthday. The tune features a drummer boy motif and two versions were merged after a Business Summit. Plan includes sheet music to schools and associations and hopes businesses will promote the Spirit of ’70 locally and beyond.

The Board set February 15 1968 at 1 00 pm to discuss building policy and adjourned to February 14 1968 at 2 00 pm.

Municipal Council Meet MINICTA-A General Meeting
The council met in Municipal Hall on Tuesday February 6 1968 with all members present. Reeve C Page chaired the session adopting January 2 minutes, and secretary read letters from Pioneer Lodge Beulah Hall Club and several departments about courses grants over expenditures clinics and associations. The financial year report was presented and the Reeve noted a Highway No 24 project discussion with the Minister of Highways, government commitment pending.
