Rev. F. C. Whittington leads Holy Trinity Church Minicta with Sunday School at 11 a.m. and Livensong and Sermo at 7.30 p.m. Attached is a curacy in charge notice.
A Winnipeg week includes visits by Spencer and Hodnett while Stewart heads to Pam Bay. The Anglican YPA meets Wednesday at 7 30 pm at the CPLR depot. United Ps held a success with Minietau and Arrow River skaters. T Jaspers rink won the Grand Challenge. A monster Carnival to raise season debt funds is scheduled for Friday with ice races hockey and a large Dog Derby on Saturday afternoon, admission 15c adults 10c children.
The Village of Miviota met Tuesday night with fair attendance. Financials show a $26 credit balance and 2500 asset from unpaid rural levy. Fire protection discussed. extinguishers kept by telephone central and new hose to be added. Fire committee named Leam Watts Berwick MacPherson Horner Massop. Constable to be engaged. John Spalding reelected councillor for three years. Additional streetlights discussed but postponed.
Arrow River school board met Saturday with full attendance. Delegates were appointed for the Manitoba School Trustees Convention in Winnipeg and route fare adjustments were proposed. 1935-1936 estimates total 42 682.0 and payments totaling 19 132.15 were approved. next meeting set for Beulah.
