The editor thanks readers for church notices. Local social items include the boys beating the girls at bridge, Missionary meeting led by Mike E. Kelly, and a December relief total of 16 293 24 with 5335 cases. Miniota Swimming Club elected new officers W L Hodnett president and Mrs A Spencer vice president. A Scotch concert at the United church drew a good crowd with varied performances and a concluding Auld Lang Syne and God Save the King.
