The regular meeting of the Anglican Y P A held Wednesday night featured a whist party. Prizes were won by Marjory Spencer and Albert Spencer.
The United Y P 8 met on Wednesday last week with Hazen Chalmers group in charge. The meeting opened with devotion and dissension led by H McRae. A game and lunch concluded the evening’s entertainment.
The Miniota School Concert Friday night drew a large crowd as the program pleased attendees. Precautions due to coughs in primary grades led to several items being omitted, with performances including O Canada Welcome Chorus monologue by Jack Stewart Christmas songs by Kathleen Spencer Sleighbell Capers and gymnastic stunts by senior boys.
A board meeting at Arrow River school discusses re routing buses to Isabella and Palmerton, payments for transport of Brown's child, and re engagement of staff. Decisions include routes 4 5 and 6 to Isabella 's day rates, route 1 to Beulah, and payments for transportation and care, with next meeting set for Isabella in January.
