John and George McKenzie visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. McKenzie for January and exchanged mystery gifts. Social included carols led by Mrs. W Leary and piano by Mrs. Stu Taylor with a Mystery Box won by Mrs. C Goodwin. Wynona Ladies Group met December 2 at Wynona Community Centre with 14 attendees, a table centre highlight and Mrs. Stu Taylor noted. A Red Cross sewing bundle was sent from Winnipeg and knitting and quilts were dispatched to Brandon.

W J Hold Christmas Party At Community Centre
Over forty members and visitors attended the W I Christmas Party at the Community Centre on Friday. Mrs. Al Aria reported the 1960 program which was well received. Pins for ten years were presented to Mrs. W J Collier and Mrs. G Long. The program included carols a solo The Birthday of a King by Helen Long and a piano duet Silent Night by Elinor and Linda Armitage. Cut Christmas cards formed groups for tea at the decorated tables.

Annual Christmas Service at Holy Trinity Sunday School
Holy Trinity Sunday School held its tenth annual Christmas service directed by W. J. Mossop with Linda Leland as organist. Aston Barrett and Ken Sparks read scriptures while the junior choir performed. A party and gifts followed in the crypt. Mrs. C. M. Goodwin praised Mossop’s decade of service and Iris Leland gave him a Morocco Sound Bible. The United Church W A and W M S plan a 2 p.m. meeting on Thursday December 17. Holiday picture shows are set for Thursday December 24 and Saturday December 26.
