Single District Division Plan Gains Support In Birtle Meeting
The Birdtail River Referendum Committee held a December 4 meeting in Birtle with Mayor M. K. Clubley Reeve R. P. Butler School Board Chair E. A. Butcher Division Trustee L. R. Fulton Principal H. Kingdon and Brandon Trustee Lindenberg present. Over 3 000 electors will vote December 5 on the Birdtail River School Division plan as Brandon officials say it advances education and local control and aligns with other districts.
