John Deere Day Free Show Draws Large Crowd
Friday’s celebration in town featured a free cinema showing of the first John Deere tractor and farming machinery, plus a rarely entertaining film Joel Gentry in Hollywood. Prize winners listed include H Johnson L Bryant H Hanlin and W Steuart. Morning pupils viewed the feature. A Miniota United UPA concert competition drew crowds with entries from Foxwarren Fik horn and Arrow River, Foxwarren demonstrating plays and orchestral works.
