Beulah Church Plans Community Outreach After Finances
Beulah United Church Committee of Stewards met December 1 to discuss the churchs future role and current finances. They heard reports from members who completed a financial canvass and noted the past decision to remain open has sparked interest but insufficient to satisfy the group. The Rev Kayes suggested new community service ideas beyond Sunday services and Church School. The committee decided against closing the congregation and asked staff and parish representatives to organize house meetings to engage residents, starting with young families.
