Birdtall River Board Defers Foxwarren Seat Decision

Birdtall River School Division No. 36 held a regular meeting November 17 1964 at Shoal Lake. Trustees Stimp Fraser and Rank Reyfields Rapley attended with a five person Foxwarren delegation. Motions approved minutes and routine correspondence, set van tender details, and adjourned to November 30 1964. The Foxwarren delegation asked for a board representative. decision postponed for full board discussion.

Wynona Ladies Club Holds Annual Pot Luck Meeting

The Wynona ladies club gathered for its annual pot luck on a Wednesday in December with husbands and children present. InterCity Gas Limited announces the appointment of John R. Arbuthnott to the Engineering Department. Arbuthnott, a Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering graduate, earned his degree from Texas A&I College after attending the University of Manitoba. He will work at the Portage la Prairie head office with his wife, who are now residents.
