Miniota Junior High boys and girls competed in a volleyball tournament in Hamiota on November 22. The girls lost 35 to 30 to Hamiota, which went on to win the event. The boys fell 42 to 17 to Hamiota. Cheerleaders led by Helen Wythe energized the crowd, with Rita Hanlin loaning the four foot dog mascot for the year. Teachers prepare report cards and parent interviews, with fifteen minute appointments to be scheduled by letter.
