Mrs. Barnes hosted Miss Dorothy Slaughter and Mrs. M Froom for three days from Winnipeg with Jean and a friend from Winnipeg and Sandy from Toronto visiting their mother Mrs. Morrice over the weekend. Gardham visitors included Mrs. B Falloon, Mrs. C Orr of Foxwarren, Mr. J Johnson of Winnipeg, Mrs. L Leland and Mrs. L Hunkin of Crandall. Sutherland left Friday to visit Winnipeg and other areas for a week or ten days. Edith Foxton left with family to attend Valerie Michaele McMurachy and Cst Dwight Charles Bohemis wedding at St Luke's Anglican Church Strathclair on Saturday August 7 at 5 pm. Wedding was held at the church. Mary Bull remains a patient at Hamiota Hospital with some improvement and short visits to Park Residence. Delbridge Suite hosted twenty ladies for afternoon tea in honor of Gardham's 86th birthday after glads and a tea table. Anne Tait of Eastend Sask visited her brother and sister-in-law Bill and Delbridge on Friday. E Baldwin spent Sunday at Clear Lake with eleven Nottingham England visitors. Mr and Mrs Walker of Oakner visited Mrs Catto on Friday. Campbell has returned from hospital after toe operation. Jory spending the week in Brandon at the G Whyte home.

Couple Honoured Before July Wedding at Isabella Centre
A large group of friends gathered at Isabella Community Centre on Friday evening, July 16, to honor Gail Clark and Wayne Smith ahead of their July 31 wedding at Isabella United Church. Sages for Gail and her relatives were given, an address read by Jan Malanowich, gifts distributed by Gail’s former schoolmates, and Gail thanked all for their good wishes. Lunch followed to close the event.
