Village Council Report HAMIOTA July 10 1978 Meeting Highlights
Council presided by Mayor Harold W. McLaren reported June cash receipts of 85285.37 and noted holidays for Amy Grant and Les Bryant. Building permits were issued for four projects and parking signs installed on Maple Avenue East. Resolutions covered June minutes, hall rent, trailer living, extended trailer site rentals, and routine accounts. Special meeting August 2 discussed road surfacing finances, Poplar Bay roadway plans, stump removal, fill sourcing, topsoil piling, and potential 1979 80 paving. Proposals included contacting Ken Kerr and Earl Gregory, and exploring live skunk traps with Brandon’s Animals Office by August 14.
