Hamiota Health Centre honors doctors at park ceremony
A long community tribute in Hamiota on Sunday honored Dr. W. K. Hames of Kenton and Dr. J. E. Hudson of Hamiota for 32 years of service. Distinguishing guests traveled by vintage cars with RCMP escort as local officials and the Manitoba Medical Association lent praise and presented merited plaques and coins. A social picnic followed with community leaders, former pupils, and distant attendees in attendance.
