Farmers to Voice Views Meetings Start July 29 in Manitoba
Manitoba farmers in four rural areas will hear introductory meetings on the livestock marketing report issued last March. Meetings run July 29, August 5 and 10 with further sessions planned for October and November. The 16 member committee will split in two for the visits led by Frank Muirhead and Darwin Chase. Producer members will alone vote on final recommendations.

Twenty two professionals from dentistry medicine nursing and administration toured Hamiota District Health Centre on July 28 as part of a week long Manitoba health system study sponsored by the University of Wisconsin and USA Department of Consumers Affairs. They visited Winnipeg Brandon and Gladstone facilities spoke with local staff and met with Bert Baldwin and doctors. The group traveled by bus with Manitoba Health Services Commission planning staff.
