Rural Council Affirms Tax Credits and Local Deeds in Miniota
The Miniota council met Friday approving credits on telephone rent for SW 12 15 27 and exempting one parcel for burial ground. It accepted part of SW 15 26 deed in tax settlement with Fred Heal estate and passed by laws on tax prepayment discounts and borrowing. They elected a road commissioner per ward and endorsed 1936 unoccupied land tax for 1937, approved seed grain subsidies, and set a 1 cent per bushel handling fee. They also instructed the solicitor to pursue title under 1833 tax sale certificates. Next meeting to be called by the Reeve.

The play presented Friday by the society showcased new directing talent, student actors, and dedicated property, lighting, and sound crews.
