Basic Welding Course Offered in Kent and Nearby Areas

Miniota hosts 20 farmers for 90 day farm management course

Twenty men from Virden, Hamiota, and surrounding areas completed a 90 day on location farm management program in Miniota. The joint program by Agriculture, Man-Power, and Education used Manitoba and University of Manitoba materials, with teachers Cameron Henry and Leslie Rankin. All trainees earned certificates at a banquet on April 3 in Miniota Community Centre.
