William A. Smith born October 12 1859 in Darlington died in Mineral Point last Wednesday evening after a limb fell during tree trimming. He was a popular band drummer for the Mineral Point band and worked laying sidewalks. Funeral held Saturday with band participation and services by Rev. MBehardh. He leaves a widow Adelia and four children Cora Hazel and two others.
