Tailoring Reminiscence of 1906 Baseball Day

Fragmentary reminiscence recalls a May Friday baseball game between the Fat boys and the Leans with players named Hack Wadell Christy Matthewson and Fawkes among others. The verse ends with a shop broadside for Gundry and Gray Co offering dressmaking and summer footwear.

Public sale in front of city hall Saturday afternoon

Household furnishings will be sold in front of city hall on Saturday afternoon June 15 at 2 o'clock. An organ is included. The cement walk contract was awarded to A S Hawley for 12 1/2 cents per foot for walk and 7 1/2 cents for curb and gutter. Work starts at once.
