George Kuhnhenn aged 75 died at his Mineral Point home on Tuesday morning after a lingering illness. A longtime resident and tailor, he was respected as an honest citizen and devoted family man. He leaves a wife five sons three daughters and two grandsons. Born in Germany March 17 1826 he immigrated to America and lived in Milwaukee Madison Sank City before settling in Mineral Point around 1865. He served as a Presbyterian director for many years and passed away after expressing readiness to meet his Savior. He was survived by a large family including George K Kuhnhenn Belmont Henry Kuhnhenn Laurel Mrs. Adam Goetz Mineral Point Mrs. George Zollinger Marshfield Charles Kuhnhenn Amelia William Kuhnhenn and Imma Grundman, plus two sisters.
