J W Taylor bids farewell to Linden and heads to Britt Iowa. praised as self-made leader for Iowa County.
Mr Thomas Miller Sr died last Sunday at his daughter's home. An English native who moved here about forty years ago he was the town's oldest man and left with a sizable property. He and his wife had lived with their daughter Limerren since her widowhood a year ago. Linden Feb 12 1485
Willow Springs editors report drifting snow hampering prairie roals and a blocked district roads causing short school vacation. Willow Springs Good Templar lodge joined the Darlington convention with residents including the Sheldons Johnsons Motleys and others enjoying the event. John Rovers family stayed with kin during the week, and Miss Alice Nole and Mr George Bachelor wed at Uncle Jack Noble's residence with a small ceremony and evening dancing. Bach and Charlie Noble departed for Dakota with friends, Mrs Bachelor and Miss Clara Noble to follow in early March.
