The First National Bank of Mineral Point gained full possession of the northwest corner of High and Chestnut streets after signing papers with John Francis. A modern up-to-date bank building is planned, replacing Walter's restaurant and Prideaux's barber shop on the site.

First School Board Convention in Dodgeville Wisconsin
A school board convention for Iowa County will be held in Dodgeville on February 24 1906. Officers receive two dollars and mileage. attendance certificates will enable warrants. Topics include tools of the modern school agriculture in common schools and the relationship of boards to teachers.
