Miss Sara Erskine Dies After Anesthetic Recovery

Word reached Saturday that Miss Sara Erskine died in Battle Creek Michigan after a surgical operation for a tumor. She had resided many years in Mineral Point with her uncle the late William Walker and was well known here. Her death came as a severe shock to friends who believed she was in good health on leaving them weeks ago. She had known of her ailment for some time. The remains were brought home to rest beside her uncle and aunt. She belonged to Mineral Point Chapter O B S and the P M church. A Child's Matinee will be given Saturday at 2 o'clock and Humpty Dumpty will be shown for school children at the Medicine Show. An medical ad notes digestion disorders of the liver and promotes Herbine for digestion and blood. Eastman & Meserole sell it for 50 cents.
