North High Athlete Dislocates Neck in Practice
Willard Armstrong, a North High student, was knocked unconscious during a Des Moines Gun Club football practice when three boys collided. A partially dislocated neck was adjusted by Dr EB Julander at North High gym. He recovered enough to go home and later return to school.
