Glenwood gains two new prospects this enrollment period as Coach De Brohun hones the squad for the opening game at Shenandoah next Saturday. The drill sessions continue to intensify as the team prepares for the contest.

New Baptist Pastor Named for Glenwood Church

Rev. R. L. Palmerton from Watertown will soon occupy the Glenwood Baptist pulpit after a vacancy since Rev. Staples left last February. He preached here two weeks ago and the call was immediately extended. Palmerton expects to arrive by Oct 16 with his wife and two boys ages three and six. Meanwhile work on the new Baptist church progresses and should be ready for painters and finishers in about a month.

The Sovereign Grand Lodge of Odd Fellows met in Atlanta Georgia. Reported total membership 1 852 421 and 1909 revenue 16 827 000. Relief fund stood at 5 326 000 with total fund 49 511 000.
