Mr. and Mrs. Henry Powles attended the military carnival at Council Bluffs, returning home. Hinton Engle returned to Marshalltown after two months with his sister. Charles Allen and party returned from auto trip to Colorado Springs. Cool nights hint of frost. A.E. Harris and family have moved from Omaha to Bartlett to work in grain business. Grandma Spider, 95, missed picnic but was remembered with dainties. the 1 year old daughter of John Garges ill. Work on the ditch widens banks. contractor hopes to finish by freezing weather.
